This post – first written as an invited article for a series of such reflections – considers the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, and the measures taken to contain it, on the experiences of teaching and learning at my home institution of New College of the Humanities at Northeastern (London) between March 2020 and the time of writing in May 2021. It considers a number of gains and losses to academics and students, and concludes that the latter have felt the gains less and the losses more.
